Product description This electronic download of Cinematic Thunder: Epic Orchestral Toms from Big Fish Audio is a virtual instrument powered by the included Native Instruments Kontakt 5 Player delivering a dynamic library of cinematic drums for film, television, sound design, and special effects. Recorded in a large concert hall from a 3-mic position, Cinematic Thunder offers sounds from soft and warm to big and bombastic. The library contains 4 master patches: Solo Sticks, Solo Mallets, Group Hits, and Group Random, each offering the natural sounds as they were recorded. Additionally, each master patch has a corresponding "Slam" patch delivering a bigger, more aggressive sound, well suited for trailers and action cues. Each drum in the "Solo" patches has left and right hand hits, flams, 3-stroke ruffs, 5-stroke ruffs, and rolls. The highest octave includes combo hits, where two toms are struck together in order of highest pairs to lowest. These combo hits include 8&10", 10&12", 12&14", 14&16", and 16&18" toms. "Group Hit" patches offer left and right hand hits, flams, and the same style combo hits offered in the "Solo" patches. The "Group Random" patch contains single hits and flams at maximum volume. The Cinematic Thunder interface has an easy-to-navigate interface containing 3 main pages: the Mixer, Channel FX, and Master FX. The Mixer is the default page and offers basic controls over levels and effects. The Channel FX page affords the ability to process each mic position independently, while the Master FX page offers access to global and send effects for the 3 summed mic positions, as well as fine tuning reverb and delay settings. - General Features
