Product description This electronic download of the Era Medieval Legends Virtual Instrument from Big Fish Audio ships with the Best Service Engine 2 sampler player and contains 10GB of content with 170 patches, 30 instruments, 15 percussion sounds, and over 100 soundscapes. All samples are recorded at 44.1 kHz/24-bit. The Era Medieval Legends offers a solid set of historical instruments for medieval, renaissance, and fantasy musical production. The Engine 2 player features the Digital Modular System (DMS), which offers flexible routing of all modules and effects with solo-mode, legato-mode, portamento, and sample-start shifting. With the fast "sound-loading" feature, Engine 2 loads instruments, samples, and effects in less than one second and offers direct stepping through the sound-pool. Other notable features include a special legato mode where not only the following, but also the prior played notes will be used for legato. There are 3 different marcato articulations for the shawms, crumhorn consort, renaissance flute consort, traditional soprano flute and traditional wooden flute. All wind instruments, fidule and bass viola da gamba feature a humanize pitch function and an automatic release function has been added to all instruments with a programmed release. - Instruments
