Product description The Big Fish Audio Timpani Modular Series DVD (Gigastudio 3 & Kontakt 2 Formats) provides you with 1.8 GB of meticulously sampled timpani. Included are multiple articulations with left- and right-hand samples, rolls, crescendos, diminuendos and FX, all with multiple velocity layers. Each articulation is available with soft, medium and hard mallet samples. This instrument is part of Westgate Studios' series of richly detailed orchestral samples and expertly programmed patches. The Modular Series DVDs set a new bar of excellence in symphonic instruments. Since each Modular Series product focuses on a single instrument, you get incredible flexibility and detail. It takes advantage of custom scripts for Kontakt and Gigastudio's iMIDI control to use specially recorded interval samples that capture stunning realism. - Richly detailed 24-bit samples recorded in a large auditorium in order to capture the full depth of sound from these instruments
- Choose from soft, medium and hard mallets
- 8 velocity levels from ppp to fff
- Left- and right-hand samples
- Real-time damping control with the Mod wheel
- Seamless crossfading of looped and un-looped rolls with specially edited release samples
- Multiple lengths of crescendo and diminuendo
- Numerous glissando effects for each of the 4 sampled drums, including single hits, rolls and rolls with a cymbal on the drum head
