Product description The Black Box 1 x 8 HDMI Splitter with Audio distributes an HDMI signal simultaneously to up to eight HDMI displays, in resolutions up to 1080p and 1920 x 1200. Beside each HDMI port is a 3.5mm stereo audio jack for passing independent audio, useful for digital signage applications where you may benefit from separate speakers. HDMI embedded audio isn't disabled when separate audio is detected, so you can output both the HDMI and 3.5mm audio signals at the same time.
Each output can be cascaded four layers deep to optional Black Box HDMI splitters (1 x 2, 1 x 4, and 1 x 8), allowing you to output to numerous HDMI displays. The first unit serves as the first layer. The HDMI ports support DVI adapters so you can connect DVI sources, but to avoid signal degradation all outputs should either be HDMI or DVI. This 1 x 8 can be used on a desktop or 19" rack mounted using included mounting brackets. - Features
