Product description The AC600A Mini VGA over CAT5 2-Port Splitter/Extender Local Unit with Local Access by Black Box is a standalone unit designed to split a VGA channel into 2 RJ-45 output ports and transmit it to 2 AC602A remote receiver units (not included) over 2 CAT5 cables for connection to monitors, projectors, or other display devices. Resolution goes up to 1600 x 1200 at 300' or 1280 x 1024 at 500', which is the maximum transmission range supported. Connect a local monitor to the unit's local VGA output for dual-access configuration of your transmitter-receiver combo. Alternatively, use the local VGA output for daisy-chaining to other splitters.
The AC600A amplifies the video signal for clean transmission and differential signaling eliminates ground loops and noise. Little or no degradation of video quality occurs during transmission. The extender combo can be set up to transmit component video (Y Pb Pr at resolutions of 1080i) instead of VGA by using HD15-3RCA breakout cable at each end, meaning that you can use the AC600A to send standard TV and HDTV component video to multiple locations. The included power supply is capable of powering both the local unit and all AC602A remote units connected to it (phantom power). Note that if the length of the CAT5 cable used for connecting the local unit to a particular remote unit is longer than 300', that remote unit will require its own power supply. - Splits a VGA channel into 2 RJ-45 output ports
- Transmits 1 VGA channel to 2 AC602A remote receiver units (not included) over 2 CAT5 cables up to 500' long
- Supports resolutions up to 1600x1200 including 1080i
- Local VGA output enables connection of local monitor for dual-access configuration
- Easily expandable by daisy-chaining using local VGA port
