Product description The Black Box iCOMPEL Q Series VESA Digital Signage Subscriber features 60GB of SSD system storage and it is designed for a variety of digital signage applications including small business and industrial applications when paired with an iCOMPEL Publisher unit. Software updates are free and there's also no annual license fees to worry about - resulting in a lower overall cost of ownership. The iCOMPEL subscriber has a fanless, sealed core, which keeps airborne particles at bay. This feature allows the system to thrive in environments where silence is required, such as museums, libraries, theaters, etc. The iCOMPEL is designed to integrate seamlessly into your existing digital signage setup, which means you'll experience less IT and security problems. Plus, the subscriber supports a wide variety of audio, video, photo, data, animation, and text file formats so you'll be able to easily create an exciting, attention-grabbing audiovisual experience. The iCOMPEL supports wired Gigabit Ethernet LAN connectivity so you can easily integrate the subscriber into your existing network and manage it over a Web browser. You'll even be able to send media to colleagues across the planet. Setup is easy and a built-in firewall keeps access limited to authorized users only. Plus, there's no need to install any third-party software or virus protection because the iCOMPEL uses HTTP and HTTPS security protocols. It also supports the LDAP authentication protocol and VPN capabilities for secure remote access. It comes preinstalled with intuitive software layout tools as well. For instance, there are several free pre-designed media layout templates, which make it possible for even beginners to display a professional-looking design in a matter of minutes. You can also create your own layouts thanks to the preinstalled suite of adjustment tools. These include resizing, repositioning, zone layering, and template adjusting tools. manually set pixel or percentage measurements as well, which helps users create a pixel-accurate alignment. It allows users to lock movie zones to a desired aspect ratio (16:9/5:4/4:3) as well. This Black Box iCOMPEL Subscriber must be connected to an iCOMPEL Publisher device for content delivery. The iCOMPEL Publisher sends media over your network to the iCOMPEL Subscriber for displaying your digital signage content, even from remote locations.
