Product description Ideal for presentations and multi-format AV setups, the Multi-Format AV Scaler/Switcher with DisplayPort from Black Box scales and scan-converts video from composite, S-video, component, VGA, DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort sources outputting it to HDMI and VGA. It will support input resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 for DisplayPort sources, and up to 1080p (at 50 or 60 Hz) and 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) for DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI, component, and VGA sources. After scaling and re-timing, if required, it can output at up to 1600 x 1200 (UXGA) and 1080p resolutions. Additionally, NTSC and PAL/SECAM SD video signals are supported across the inputs and outputs.
The video inputs apart from DisplayPort are each paired with a stereo analog input, and the component input features a S/PDIF (RCA) audio input as well as the analog one. There is one stereo analog and one S/PDIF digital audio output. In addition to the separate inputs and output, HDMI-embedded audio will also pass through the device.
The device can be controlled locally via front-panel controls or using the included IR remote control. For remote operation, there is an RS-232 port for automation systems a software-based control, and there is an Ethernet port for controlling it over a network. - A total of 7 different video inputs
