Product description The VX-HDMI-TP-100M XR HDMI (HDMI/IR) over CATx Extender Kit by Black Box, comprised of a local transmitter unit and a remote receiver unit, drives uncompressed HD video, audio, and control signals with a maximum video resolution of 1080p up to 328' away from your HDMI or DVI-D source using one CATx cable (CAT5e/6). A built-in IR extender function allows IR remote control of source devices from a remote viewing location. To do this, the extender sends IR commands received near the display back to the source devices. The extender supports 340 MHz/3.4 Gbps of HDMI video bandwidth per channel and 10.2 Gbps on all channels allowing transmission of 1080p 3D video and digital 7.1 surround audio. HDBaseT technology reduces susceptibility to EMI/RFI noise over the full 328' distance. EDID and HDCP communications are supported, meaning you can also extend content from a Blu-ray player or other protected-content source. For high-quality sound, the XR HDMI and IR extender transmits uncompressed LPCM signals as well as compressed audio, such as DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD audio, as part of the HDMI signal. - Extends uncompressed HD video, audio, and control signals up to 328'
