Product description This Kit pairs the Blackmagic Design Mini Converter Sync Generator with a Switronix Powertap Blackmagic Converter Cable. The pairing opens up the use of the Sync Generator in the field by converting the unregulated DC power from an existing Li-Ion brick-style battery with a Powertap output (not included) to match the 12V power input of the Mini Converter. The Mini Converter Sync Generator does exactly what its name suggests. Send a crystal-stabilized video sync reference through up to six BNC outputs, for referencing video equipment in either HD Tri-Sync or standard-def Black Burst television standards. The Blackmagic Mini Converter features a cable tie point that secures the power supply connection, thus preventing an accidental power disruption. The partnering of the Sync Generator device with the Switronix cable makes it ideal for unpredictable outside-broadcast environments in which there's not always access to a wall power outlet. - Blackmagic Design Sync Generator The Blackmagic Design CONVMSYNC is a sync generator. This generator will generate a reference signal in either high definition or standard definition parmeters. It is part of the Mini Converter series and offers six BNC outputs.

- Tri-level high definition or standard definition black burst can be selected for the matching video format needed.
- Core SWX Powertap BlackMagic Converter Cable (24") The Core SWX Powertap BlackMagic Converter Cable (24") comes with a regulated 12V connector jack to power the Black Magic Mini Converter with an inline female P-Tap connector for 12VDC, and features both red and green LED indicators to display battery power status. It can be used with a Core SWX accessory or individually with a PRO-X series Lithium Ion battery, and is housed in an enclosure.
