Product description Styled in a blonde finish, the Blackstar HT-5RH 5W Amplifier Head with HT-112 Cabinet is designed for electric guitar players. It sports a 5W amplifier head with two footswitchable channels, built-in reverb, and a stereo speaker-emulated output for recording or driving headphones. Blackstar's proprietary ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) circuit works in conjunction with the tone control for fine-tuning, so you can effectively dial in the specific sound you desire. The amp uses a low-powered push-pull design with ECC83 and 12BH7 tubes that produces the same types of crunch and breakup characteristics of a traditional 100W amp, but at a much lower volume. Its emulated stereo speaker output allows you to get the valve tone straight to tape or disk, or through headphones. A 4x12 / 1x12 voicing switch allows you to change the tonal characteristics of the emulated signal between two emulated cabinet types.The stereo speaker emulated output can be used while using the internal speaker or an extension cabinet, providing headphone-free monitoring or the choice to blend a miked speaker and an emulated signal together when recording. In addition, the speaker output can be turned off for silent practice or recording.Add to this an effects loop with switchable level, 16- and 8-Ohm speaker outputs, and a stereo MP3/line in to allow you to jam along with your favorite tracks, and you have everything you need for recording or practicing. You'll also note the included HT-112 cabinet, which is voiced to match the amplifier head. This is a 50W 1x12" cabinet with 16-Ohm operation. - Power section uses one 12BH7 driver tube and one ECC83 preamp tube
