Product description The ID:Core BEAM from Blackstar is a 20W amplifier with twelve stereo effects, six voice channels, and a stereo MP3/line in for jamming or listening to music. It can be used in several environments for applications such as at home, in the studio or in rehearsals. The ID:Core BEAM features two unique controls that allow you to custom design your own sound. The Infinite Shape Feature (ISF) and the voice control. The voice control has the following settings: Clean Warm, Clean Bright, Crunch, Super Crunch, Overdrive 1 and Overdrive 2. By using the voice control and the ISF together allows you to design the sound you are thinking of in your head. In addition, the effects section delivers Super Wide Stereo, modulation, delay, and reverb effects simultaneously so you can also store them with your sounds. The Blackstar Insider software is used to edit and store up to 12 of your patches and it can be uploaded and downloaded via the online community. Finally, a USB connector allows you to record from an amp directly to your computer. An emulated speaker output and MP3/line input completes the package. - Bluetooth
- To use the Bluetooth feature you have two options. Discoverable Mode (slow flash): to pair simply go to the devices page of your Bluetooth device, select your ID:Core BEAM, then play your music. Scanning Mode (fast flash): reconnect automatically to a previously paired device, or press again to enter Discoverable Mode.
- Infinite Shape Feature (ISF)
- The ISF control allows you to choose the exact tonal signature you prefer. Fully counter clockwise has a more American characteristic with a tight bottom end and more aggressive middle, and fully clockwise has a British characteristic which is woodier and less aggressive
- Six Voice Channels
- The voice control has six different channels - Clean Warm, Clean Bright, Crunch, Super Crunch, Overdrive 1, and Overdrive 2
- Effects
- In addition to the 12 vintage style studio quality effects - four modulations, four delay and four reverb effects, there are new effects for the bass guitar. There is a bass envelope effect and a bass distortion effect available with the rotary control and level control, affecting the overall sound
- MP3/Line In
- Stereo MP3/line in can be used for jamming with your guitar or listening to music in Super Wide Stereo
- Built-In Tuner
- Holding the tap and manual switches together for one second will engage the tuner. The recall indicator LED will flash continuously to indicate the amplifier is in tuner mode
- LED Indicators
- LED's alert you to several conditions of the amplifier
