Product description The Blackstar U250 is a Unity Series 15" 250W bass amplifier designed to deliver versatile tones, built-in effects, and stage-worthy power for bassists recording in the studio and performing in concerts. It features 250W of solid-state power driving a custom-designed Eminence Opus 15" speaker mounted in a closed-back cabinet. Available via dedicated top-panel controls are three amp voices, three overdrive types, and three power amp response types. Built-in adjustable effects include chorus, octaver, and compression. A footswitch is provided for hands-free toggling of the chorus and octaver. Effectively manage your gain structure using the input gain, clip indicator, -10 dB pad, master volume. The pad allows easy accommodation of basses with low-output passive pickups or hot active electronics. Shape your tone with the 3-band EQ, which boasts a semi-parametric mid band. Connect your mobile device to the 3.5mm aux input and play along with backing tracks or your favorite songs. Utilize the 1/4" series effects loop to patch in your own stompboxes or rack effects. Output connections include an XLR for linking to a Blackstar U250ACT (available separately), an XLR line output with a ground-lift switch, and a 1/4" headphone jack with an independent level control. A USB audio output allows direct recording to your computer. Speaker emulation for the USB and line/headphone outputs is selectable via a rear-panel button. - 250W of solid-state power through a custom-designed Eminence Opus 15" speaker
- Selectable Voices: Classic for valve-inspired growl with vintage EQ, Modern for high-headroom dynamics and advanced EQ, and Flat for clean transparency
- Selectable response control provides the compression and feel of different power amp stages—Linear for power and articulation, 6L6 for the compression and punch of 6L6 power tubes, and 6550 for the dynamics and headroom of high-power 6550 tubes
- Selectable Overdrive: Overdrive for a smooth, open, harmonically rich grit, Distortion for balanced pedal-like distortion, and Fuzz for full-on fuzz
- 3-band EQ with semi-parametric mid band
- Chorus and octaver selectable via top panel or footswitch
- Rear-panel controls for chorus level and octave blend
- Built-in compressor with on/off switch and rotary control
- Input gain control, switchable -10 dB pad, and master volume
- LED indicators for input clipping and power status
- 3.5mm aux input for playing along with music from your mobile device
- Dedicated Cab Link XLR output allows linking to a U250ACT Unity 250 active cabinet (available separately)
- XLR 3-pin line output with ground-lift switch
