Product description The HDE-2H/2S-QAM MPEG-2 Encoder from Blonder Tongue will encode HDMI, HD-SDI, Component, or Composite video sources along with audio in MPEG-2 D format for delivery over QAM. It features two HDMI, two HD-SDI, four component, and four composite inputs as well as separate digital and analog audio inputs to accompany the analog video inputs. There are four QAM outputs and an additional RF port for testing. - Multiplexes up to four inputs programs in any of the following combinations:
- 1:1: One program per QAM channel
- 2:1: Two programs per QAM channel, not exceeding 38.8 Mbp/s
- 3:1: Three programs per QAM channel, not exceeding 38.8 Mbp/s
- 4:1 Four programs per QAM channel, not exceeding 38.8 Mbp/s
- Supports EIA-708 closed captioning through SDI and HDMI, and EIA-608 closed-captioning through the analog inputs
- Provides +52 dBmV QAM output level for four combined channels
- Equipped with an Emergency Alert System (EAS) interface
- Front-panel RF test port for testing and monitoring of QAM output without service interruption
- Ethernet and Web server connection allows the system to be operated remotely using a Web browser
- Supports real-time Dolby Digital audio encoding
- Supports user-defined PSIP configuration
