Product description The HDE-4S-QAM MPEG-2 HD Encoder from Blonder Tongue will encode HD-SDI, Component, or Composite video sources along with audio in MPEG-2 for delivery over QAM. It features four HD-SDI, four component, and four composite inputs, and allows you to use either all four of the HD-SDI inputs or a mixture of four Component and Composite inputs at once. Addition, up to four channels can be assigned per QAM output. - Supports EIA-708 closed captioning through SDI and EIA-608 closed-captioning through the analog inputs
- Equipped with an Emergency Alert System (EAS) interface
- Front-panel RF test port for testing and monitoring of QAM output without service interruption
- Ethernet and Web server connection allows the system to be operated remotely using a Web browser
