Product description The MDDA-860 Micro ATSC/QAM to ASI Digital Demodulator and Transcoder by Blonder Tongue receives one input signal in ATSC 8VSB (digital off-air) or QAM (digital cable) format and delivers one output in ASI format. The unit features a front panel custom mini USB to RS232 interface connector for program control. The front panel provides up and down control channel selection and a two digit display to identify the program channel as well as a 1 digit RF channel display to indicate the frequency/channel plan. - Input standards supported are digital off-air (8VSB) and digital cable (ITU-B QAM 64 and 256)
- Die-cast chassis offers protection against ingress or egress
- Demodulates & transcodes HDTV/SDTV digital signals to ASI
- Compact design allows for deployment of 12 units in 2RU
- On-site firmware updates available through front-panel
