Product description The RMDA 86A-30 Two-Way RF Distribution Amplifier from Blonder Tongue is a two-way broadband distribution amplifier that utilizes push-pull hybrid technology with two forward and one return channel hybrids. It is designed to serve as a distribution amplifier in MATV, SMATV, or CATV applications, or to use as a headend launch amplifier. It features 32 dB of gain forward and 22 dB active gain on the return. It boasts a forward frequency range of 54 to 860 MHz and a return range of 5 to 40 MHz. The return path is field configurable for either active or passive operation.
The RMDA 86A-30 has built-in variable gain controls on both the forward and return paths. A forward path variable slope control is provided inter-stage as is the variable gain control. Additionally, a fixed forward equalizer and forward and reverse attenuator plug-ins can be installed for further signal conditioning at the input. 30 dB back-matched test ports are provided for monitoring both forward and reverse signal levels without interrupting service. - 860 MHz push-pull hybrid technology
