Product description Available for download, the Blue Cat Axe Pack is a bundle of software that's geared towards electric guitar and bass guitar processing. It includes four plug-ins: Axiom, Destructor, Late Replies, and Patchwork. Axiom provides two channels of amp simulation with 40 effects built in, while Destructor centers more on distortion, compression, and non-linear tone-shaping.
Late Replies offers eight-tap delay effects, two feedback loops, built-in effects for the delay, and the ability to host any third-party plug-in within the delay loop as an effect. So if you like a Waves pitch-sifter or UAD modulation effect, you can you nest that effect within the delay itself.
Finally, PatchWork rounds out the bundle, allowing you to create chains of plug-ins within one plug-in. This module is especially useful if your DAW doesn't support a given format that you'd like to use. So if you can't access a VST plug-in in Logic Pro or Pro Tools, you can use PatchWork to host that VST effect and side-step around your DAW's innate limitations. All of this software is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms, and operates in AU, VST, and AAX formats.
