Product description The Star 5.1 Stereo/Subwoofer System from Blue Sky International includes five Sat 6D Digital Powered Studio Monitors, one Sub 12D Digital Powered Subwoofer, and an AMC (Audio Management Controller).The Sat 6D Powered Monitor comes with both XLR analog inputs and AES/EBU digital inputs. The speakers are designed for integration with the Star System One monitoring system, providing precision and accuracy for film, television, and gaming audio post production, as well as music recording and mixing. The Sat 6D Monitor utilizes a 6.5" high excursion radial magnet woofer and 1" ring radiator tweeter. The on-board USB data port provides access to speaker settings, updates, and room correction inputs, which includes a 1/3 octave, 31-band digital graphic equalizer and 8 bands of parametric EQ and filters.The Sub 12D Powered Subwoofer is designed for professional monitoring and personal listening applications. This 12” subwoofer features both XLR analog inputs and AES/EBU digital inputs with a switch that will automatically select the digital signal when both sources are connected. It also features analog and digital outputs for connecting to additional subwoofers. The subwoofer utilizes a 12" high excursion cast frame woofer with a ferrite motor powered by a 400W amplifier to deliver a frequency response of 25 to 200 Hz ±1.5 dB.The AMC (Audio Management Controller) is an overall monitor system controller which can be used with 2.1 systems as well as surround systems. It provides precise, centralized control over levels, balance, mute, selection of house curves, and various other system configuration settings. The AMC features a large rotary control for primary adjustments as well as additional hardware controls via lighted buttons, and a large display screen. It is an 8-channel DSP-based system and supports configurations up to 7.1.Other features include eight system presets (including EQ curves), lip sync delay, 7.1 bass management with variable cutoff frequency per channel, and an externally accessible mute input. The bass channel has a 10-band parametric equalizer. The digital inputs have a built-in sample rate converter, which can be bypassed in pure-digital mode for 48/96 kHz operation. - Sat 6D Digital Powered Studio Monitor - Star System One The Sat 6D from Blue Sky is an individual powered monitor with digital inputs that is part of the Star System One Monitoring System, providing precision and accuracy for film, television, and gaming audio post production, as well as music recording and mixing. The Sat 6D utilizes a 6.5" high excursion radial magnet woofer and 1" ring radial tweeter. The digital circuitry features FR4 6-layer circuit boards, Burr-Brown 192 kHz/24-bit AD/DA converters, and a Cirrus Logic Digital receiver and sample rate converter. In addition, the Sat 6D has a "Pure-Digital" mode for 48 kHz and 96 kHz operation, where the native input from the AES/EBU receiver is sent straight to the DAC. The on-board USB data port provides speaker settings, updates and room correction inputs, which includes a 1/3 octave, 31-band digital graphic equalizer plus 8 bands of parametric EQ and filters. The system includes Blue Sky's Speaker Management Software that works in tandem with the included Speaker Room Optimization and Binary Organic Optimization software to calculate precise response curves to measure and optimally correct room problems. The Sat 6D ships with a removable "port" plate and IEC power cord.

UPC: 805990000241 - Star System One Sub 12D - 12" Digital Powered Subwoofer The Blue Sky International Star System One Sub 12D - 12" Digital Powered Subwoofer is designed for professional monitoring and personal listening applications. The unit features both XLR analog inputs and AES/EBU digital inputs with a switch that will automatically select the digital signal when both sources are connected. It also features analog and digital outputs for connecting to additional subwoofers. A bank of DIP switch allows you to select +24 dBu/+12 dBu max analog output, +24 dBu/+12 dBu max analog input, sub direct digital in L/R, and sub crossover mode on / sub direct mode on.
The subwoofer utilizes a 12" high excursion cast frame woofer with a ferrite motor powered by a 400W amplifier to deliver a frequency response of 25 to 200 Hz ±1.5 dB. For circuit design, it features FR4 6-layer circuit boards, Burr-Brown 24-bit 192 kHz A/D/A conversion, and a Cirrus Logic Digital receiver and sample rate converter. The subwoofer can also operate in "pure-digital" mode at either 48 or 96 kHz sample rate wherein the input from the AES/EBU digital receiver is routed directly to the subwoofer's DAC.
The devices includes a 2.1 Bass Mass Management system with variable crossover frequency adjustments, low pass filters, high pass filters, a 1/3 octave 31-band digital graphic equalizer, pink noise generator, selectable parametric equalizer, room correction, and an adjustable gain control. The DSP settings can be controlled using Blue Sky's BOO optimization software on a PC computer. The subwoofer is designed and assembled in the USA. - Digital Inputs
