Product description The BLUESHAPE BX4 UN Certified Battery Flight Case can be used to ship up to four units of the following V-Mount battery series: BV225, BV190HD, BV270HD, BV190HD, BV190HD, BV270HD SPLASH, GRANITE, or GRANITE Two. The case walls are thinner and more elastic, making them shockproof and impact-resistant. It is also chemical-resistant (including acids), scratchproof, and is IP67-rated for use in extreme weather and temperature conditions. In addition, the case is tested to withstand temperatures ranging from -40 to 176°F.
The foam used internally is made of special fire-retardant material and shaped to accommodate four batteries. The batteries fit tightly and securely inside, with sufficient soft cushioning to enable quick insertion and removal without risk of scratching the batteries. A document insert is also provided for added convenience. The case meets IATA PI965 1A packing standards for shipping UN3480 batteries over 100Wh.
The purge valve fitted in this case is an auto-press release valve located underneath the case handle that adjusts to changing temperatures automatically. Made from Hydrophobic Acrylic ePTPE, it permits optimum air exchanges while retaining the IP67 rating. Moreover, by design, the valve cannot unscrew itself and get lost.
The BX4 case is equipped with a watertight two-step latch and O-ring system to protect the batteries in extreme weather conditions. Changes in atmospheric pressure during travel will create a vacuum tight seal between the lid and the body of the case. The purge valve automatically adjusts or releases pressure according to the environmental conditions. In addition, the case features two latches.
