Product description Bodelin's ProScope Mobile for iPad, iPhone, & iPod Touch is a compact and ergonomic wireless handheld microscope featuring a 5.0MP CMOS sensor for delivering superior image quality. It is suitable for professional settings and applications in medicine, science, or engineering. The 5.0MP, 1/4" imager delivers clear, high-contrast images with resolutions up to 640 x 480 pixels. Powered by three user-supplied AA batteries, the microscope provides freedom of movement in laboratory, classroom, or conference room settings. The versatile hand unit can be used as a standalone device using the included 30N lens or with stationary compound microscopes and borescopes, using optional c-mounts or other adapters. The lens provides 30x magnification and features polarized LED illumination that reduces image glint, unwanted reflections, and speckles, delivering more clarity, contrast, and resolution. This quality makes it ideal for dermatology, dentistry, and jewelry.
As a standalone, handheld device, operators can achieve a maximum magnification of 400x with optional Bodelin lenses attached. The construction of this compact scope does not lack in ergonomics and utility. The cobalt black polymer handle offers contoured shape for a comfortable grip, conveniently located control buttons near your thumb and index finger, and a forward-looking camera directed at a 90° angle relative to the handle. If your application requires long exposure and complete stillness of camera, a built-in metal ¼"-20 tripod socket, located on the back of the handle, will provide a secure and stable connection to most standard tripods.
Using the free AirMicro App (for iPhone/iPod) or AirMicroPad App (for iPad), downloadable through a PC synced with iTunes, your microscope can connect wirelessly with your iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. You can establish a secure static IP one-to-one Wi-Fi network to your Apple iOS device. - Compatibility
