Product description The Bogen Communications HDU250 is a handheld cardioid dynamic microphone offering an extended frequency range balanced for vocals, speech, and instruments in concert venues, houses of worship, clubs, and conferences. Its dynamic element requires no power source and delivers a frequency response of 50 Hz to 18 kHz with a gentle presence boost and mild roll-off of low frequencies. The cardioid polar pattern rejects sound behind the mic, yielding enhanced immunity to feedback and decreased pickup of room ambience. An internal shock-isolation system minimizes handling noise while the built-in pop filter attenuates noise from breaths and wind. The durable, metal construction delivers tour-worthy toughness for reliable operation gig after gig. A lockable silent on/off switch is provided for convenient muting of the mic between speeches or performances. The XLR 3-pin output ensures compatibility with most microphone preamps and mixer inputs. The HDU250 ships with a microphone clip for easy attachment to a mic stand (available separately). - Ideal for vocals, speech, and instruments
