Product description The off-white Bogen Communications SM4T is an Easy Install series 4W surface-mount speaker in a lightweight ABS plastic shell offering intelligible voice reproduction for paging, talkback, and security applications in schools, warehouses, offices, and more. This multi-tap speaker is compatible with 25 and 70V amplifiers, and delivers a maximum power output of 4W across a frequency range of 125 Hz to 15 kHz with a 120° dispersion angle. A rotary switch grants access to five power tap settings.Easily wire the SM4T using the color-coded mounting studs, and adjust the volume via the front-mounted knob without having to remove the speaker. Mounting hardware is supplied for simple, tool-free installation. - Simple three-step installation process takes less than one minute and requires no tools

- Can be installed in any drop ceiling with standard ceiling tiles
- Lightweight and durable plastic shell with a paintable off-white finish
- O-ring seal holds speaker tight to ceiling surface, negating whistling and ensuring smoother sound without peaks
- Compatible with 25 and 70V systems
- Switch-selectable taps at 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2, and 4 watts
- Wire-wound volume control on outside of speaker for easy access
- 125 Hz to 15 kHz frequency response contributes to intelligible voice reproduction
- Direct and reflected sound paths create a wide dispersion angle of 120°
- Color-coded mounting studs identify polarity simplify electrical connections
- Textured studs easily pierce ceiling tile and secure wire nut connections
- Wide-bottom, easy-to-handle mounting wing nuts provide secure speaker mounting
- Compatible with SMTB tile bridge (available separately)
- Includes all necessary mounting hardware
