Product description The Bolide Technology Group BE8016/AR converts the video signal coming over a UTP cable into a standard BNC video signal recognizable by a conventional TV, VCR, DVR, etc. Along with color and B/W video, this unit will also convert alarm and Coaxitron (up the coax) PTZ control signals received from the same UTP cable into standard RS-485/RS-422 control protocol signals.
By installing a UTP transmitter at the source end and a UTP converter at the receiving end, users will be able to send high resolution color or B/W video plus control signals over relatively long distances via a single UTP cable. In addition to allowing longer cable runs, UTP also supports multi-video channels and is less costly when compared to a BNC cable of the same length. These advantages make UTP the cable of choice for professional CCTV operations. - Converts video and control signals from UTP into standard connectors
- Supports long distance UTP cable runs (1500m for color video, 2400m for B/W video)
- On-board distance and position range selectors
- Built-in transient system and ground lifting for protection against damaging electrical spikes
