Product description - BOLT Cyclone & Compact Battery Packs
The Cyclone DR PP-400DR Dual Outlet Power Pack from Bolt features dual plugs for powering 2 flashes at the same time. It works with most on-camera flash units with high-voltage (HV) connections, including those from Nikon, Canon, Sony, Bolt, Sunpak, Quantum, Vivitar, and Metz (cables required and sold separately). The pack has a fast recycle time of approximately 1 sec and provides up to 1400 full-power flashes, depending on the flash and settings used. The Cyclone DR's flash cable ports can be locked once the cable is attached, making the connection extra secure. The unit weighs a mere 1.2 lb.
The power pack's microcontroller unit prevents overheating via integrated software and hardware protection. The included PP-400BP Cyclone DR Battery Pack is removable, allowing you to charge it while powering the Cyclone power pack with a second identical battery (sold separately). Also supplied is a 2-prong 100-240 VAC charger for worldwide use. Four LED's indicate remaining battery charge; one light on means 25% or lower, two lights mean 25-50%, three mean 50-75%, and all four mean 75% or higher. Additionally, the Cyclone DR comes with an adjustable neoprene shoulder strap that has a non-slip rubber underside and a quick-release buckle. It attaches to the strap lug on the power pack. The Cyclone also features a built-in belt clip, as well as two rubberized feet for stability.
