Product description Housed in an all-metal chassis, the BON FM-073SCH 7" High Brightness On-Camera Monitor is ready for professional-level productions. The 7" 1024 x 600 LCD panel is backlit by LEDs and is color calibrated from the factory for accurate color reproduction. This high brightness model has a powerful 1100 cd/m² back light for daylight viewing without a sun hood. SDI, HDMI, and analog inputs will accept a video signal from nearly any source up to DCI 2K resolution. When working with higher resolutions, the pixel-to-pixel mapping function and focus assist monitoring tools help achieve sharp in-focus images. Onboard SDI to HDMI conversion and vice-versa ensures that your camera setup will be compatible with most modern outboard video equipment.Adorning the front face of the metal chassis is a wealth of programmable and preprogrammed interface buttons, input selection buttons, a speaker, a headphone output, a tally lamp, plus brightness, contrast, and chroma adjustment knobs. Use the programmable function buttons to assign your most frequently used monitoring tools for easy access. The rear of the monitor has all the video I/O ports, can accept separately available battery plates for power, and has input and thru connections for software and remote control. A standard power supply and power cord are included. - SDI-HDMI Cross Conversion
- While preserving the original signal resolution, the FM-073SCH will cross convert incoming HDMI or SDI signals to outgoing SDI or HDMI signals, respectively. Having this functionality is especially useful in professional applications that require SDI connectivity. HDMI-only cameras can now be integrated into SDI-only production environments.
- Horizontal/Vertical Level Meters and Auto-Flip
- Ensure that your shots are accurately composed by checking the monitor's positioning against the internal level meters, which gauge horizontal and vertical tilt. This functionality also extends to enable Auto-Flip, a feature which will automatically right the image on the monitor's screen if the monitor should be flipped completely.
