Product description The white MIC IP Starlight 7000i Illuminator from Bosch features a dual-pod housing that incorporates a combination of IR (850nm and 940nm) and white light (5600-6300K) LEDs. When attached to a MIC IP starlight 7000i camera, the illuminator allows detection of objects at a maximum distance of 1476' with infrared (850nm) and 820' with white light. IR arrays with multiple beam angles (ranging from 16 to 47°) provide illumination of a wide area. A MIC camera can steer the IR beam dynamically to match the illumination intensity with its own field of view based on zoom level. The beam intensity can be controlled automatically or manually. Decreasing intensity reduces overexposure.
As ambient light decreases in a scene, the camera switches to monochrome mode and automatically activates the IR LEDs of the illuminator. When IR illuminators are active, the camera's IR focus correction feature is enabled automatically. Covert LEDs (940nm) allow operators to illuminate short-range scenes with LEDs that human eyes can see. Operators have the option to set automatic timeout of white light mode. After this mode times out, the illuminator will return to IR mode. Operators can disable the white light functionality all together or by sector. - Integrated Constant Light technology delivers a consistent level of illumination performance
- White light mode allows operators to capture full scene details in color (operators can turn the white light LEDs on and off)
- IR automatically adjusts beam angle and intensity to match a camera's field of view
- Polycarbonate windows attached to a corrosion-resistant aluminum body
- IP68-rated weather-resistant and IK10-rated vandal-resistant housing
- Field-installable on MIC IP starlight 7000i cameras
- Backward compatible with MIC-7130 and MIC-7230 model MIC cameras
- Camera provides power to the illuminator (no additional power source is required)
