It features Bose's proprietary waveguide speaker technology that's designed to produce deep, rich sound to fill your largest room. Improving upon the wireless performance of previous models, the SoundTouch 30 Series III uses an enhanced dual-band wireless platform that's designed to achieve better speed, range, and have less interference with other Wi-Fi devices. Using the free companion SoundTouch app, you can set up your SoundTouch system, assign Internet radio stations to one of its six presets, or even control multiple SoundTouch systems throughout your home. In addition to wireless and Bluetooth connectivity, this unit features a 3.5mm input for connecting wired audio sources such as MP3 players.
The SoundTouch 30 Series III features an OLED display that provides in-depth song, artist, station, and connectivity information and includes an IR remote for system control. In addition to standard functions, the remote allows you select from your personalized presets and rate the music you're listening to. If you don't have a Wi-Fi network or Bluetooth-enabled device, this system also features a wired Ethernet connection.
