Product description New Products from Roland and BOSS for Music Producers and Musicians Read More acrertwbdc Weighing just under 3 lb, the BOSS GT-1B is an effects processor chockfull of processing tools for electric bass housed in a relatively lightweight enclosure. Users of BOSS multi-effects products will recall the GT-10B; a wide array of preamps offered in that unit have been updated and retooled for this effects processor, and two models new to the lineup have been added. Limiting, distortion, graphic EQ, and more are offered, as are creative processors such as Harmonist, Bass Synth, Defretter, and more. All in all, the pedal sports 90 effects types, giving you 99 preset patches and 99 user patches for tweaking your timbre. An easy-to-understand interface helps you build and fine-tune tonal parameters. You’ll find buttons labelled Easy Edit and Easy Select which help you tweak with alacrity and efficacy. An arrangement of buttons enable you to access individual effects by category, and to switch them on and off at will, allowing you to bypass and engage elements of your processed tone on the stage. In addition to the GT-10B’s large expression control pedal—assignable to wah, pitch shift, and more—you’ll find footswitches which allow you to turn all the effects on or off, sync effects with tap tempo functionality, control the 32-second looper, and to access the tuner. The pedal provides an instrument input, an auxiliary input, stereo outputs, a headphone output, and a jack for additional expression/control pedals. The GT-1B runs on four AA batteries, or by means of an optional and separately available power supply. In addition to the onboard patches, you can tweak and import patches using BOSS Tone Central Editor software. - Key Features at a Glance
