Product description The XMS500 2-Light Flash Kit from Bowens provides photographers with a great core setup for the studio or on the road. The kit includes 2 multi-voltage, 500Ws XMS500 flash heads with built-in radio receivers that can be triggered at distances up to 100' with the included wireless transmitter. Each head comes complete with a power cord, flash tube, reflector, and a compact light stand. A 23.6 x 31.5" Lumiair softbox and a 35.4" umbrella are also included. It all fits in the kit's wheeled bag. - XMS500 Flash Head The XMS500 Flash Head from Bowens is a 500Ws monolight with fast recycling of 0.2 - 1.0 sec and 7-stop power variability in full or 1/10 stops. The flash has Off, Proportional, Free Set, and Full modeling light modes, a safe sync voltage of 5V, and action-stopping flash durations as short as 1/5180 second. The XMS500 has a built-in 16-channel / 8-group receiver that accepts 2.4GHz signals from the optional XMSR transmitter at distances up to 100'. Besides flash triggering, remote controllable functions include power level, modeling light mode, ready indications, and sync including High Speed Sync up to 1/8000 sec. The XMS500 is ready for worldwide use thanks to its 90-250 VAC power supply. UPC: 880939028012
- Lumiair 60-80 Softbox (31.5 x 23.6 x 12.6") This Bowens Lumiair 60-80 Softbox (31.5 x 23.6 x 12.6") is a good choice for softening the output of your flash. Precision tension ensures straight edges delivering clean cut-off of the light beam, while the optimum color calibration of the reflective interior surface together with shallow construction, offers a high degree of light efficiency. Add to this two layers of diffusion and you have an even spread of light - no more than 1/2 stop from center to edge, without distracting hotspots. Each Lumiair softbox comes complete with a simple zip-up carry case to ensure safe and easy transportation to location shoots. Lumiair softboxes also include the main canopy, a rear cowl, front diffuser, internal diffuser and support rods. Lumiair softboxes come with a 2-part speed ring - a basic ring accepts the rods and the included Bowens insert. There are also inserts available for most other flash head brands.
- XMSR Flash Trigger The XMSR Flash Trigger from Bowens is a 16-channel / 8-group transceiver designed to fire Bowens's recently introduced XMS500, XMS750 and XMS1000 flash heads. The full-function trigger will also control the flash heads' power level, modeling light, flash ready indicators and channel selection from distances up to 100'. Because of its transceiver design, the shoe-mount XMSR will also fire a connected camera using a second XMSR. The flash trigger operates on the 2.4GHz frequency and is powered by 2 AAA batteries.
