Product description The XMS500 Flash Head from Bowens is a 500Ws monolight with fast recycling of 0.2 - 1.0 sec and 7-stop power variability in full or 1/10 stops. The flash has Off, Proportional, Free Set, and Full modeling light modes, a safe sync voltage of 5V, and action-stopping flash durations as short as 1/5180 second. The XMS500 has a built-in 16-channel / 8-group receiver that accepts 2.4GHz signals from the optional XMSR transmitter at distances up to 100'. Besides flash triggering, remote controllable functions include power level, modeling light mode, ready indications, and sync including High Speed Sync up to 1/8000 sec.
