Product description The XMT500 TTL Monolight from Bowens is a wise choice for photographers on the road especially those shooting without access to AC power. The XMT500 runs on a removable, rechargeable Li-ion battery that gets 500 full power flashes on a 4-hour charge. And being battery-powered doesn't hinder its performance; the fan-cooled flash head recycles to full power in just 2 seconds, fast enough to rival AC-only units. The XMT500's 10W LED modeling lamp is designed to tax its battery minimally. The XMT500 has a built-in 2.4GHz receiver and supports Canon, Nikon, or Sony TTL triggering and exposure control at distances up to 260' with the separate purchase of a TTL transmitter. It controls most of the flash head's functions such as its 9-stop power range (2 - 500Ws) when shooting manually and +/- 3 stops of wireless TTL exposure compensation. Other controllable functions include sync delay from 0.01-30 seconds, 100-flash strobe bursts and High Speed Sync up to 1/8000 second.
