Product description The Sky Capture Series Four-Piece Filter Kit from Bower is designed specifically for the Zenmuse X3 camera. Complete with the essentials, this kit includes Ultraviolet (UV), Circular Polarizing (CPL), and two Neutral Density (ND4 & ND8) filters made of high-quality optics to improve HD video and image capture from the skies. The UV filter serves to protect the Phantom's built-in camera lens from flying debris while blocking UV light. The CPL filter eliminates unwanted reflections from bodies of water, glass reflections and more. Additionally, it intensifies color saturation for added detail, eliminating the need for editing in post. The two Neutral Density filters – one blocking 2 stops of light and one blocking 3 stops – deliver perfect exposure for sweeping landscapes in bright conditions or creatively blur moving subjects for incredible lighting effects. The all-in-one filter kit comes with a portable filter pouch for safekeeping, sized to fit into your pocket. - Circular Polarizing Filter (CPL)
- The polarizer filter helps to reduce glare and improve color saturation. When filming from a quadcopter, a large amount of light is reflected back up towards the camera. The polarizer reduces the amount of glare bouncing off the ground. It can also be used to slow down the camera's shutter speed by reducing light by 1.6 stops.
- Ultraviolet Filter (UV)
- The UV filter can help reduce atmospheric haze and – as a chroma-neutral lens – serves as a protective filter
- ND Filters
- The ND filters reduces light hitting the sensor, which slows down the camera's shutter speed. This creates a more natural-looking motion blur that smoothes out footage and helps reduce the appearance of "jello" effects from the camera's rolling shutter. They can also be used for reducing lens flare while shooting into the sun and for toning down highlights while filming outdoors. The following NDs are included:
- ND4: This ND cuts light by 2 stops
- ND8: This ND cuts light by 3 stops
