Product description How to Use ND Filters: Tips, Tricks, and Special Effects Read More Boasting a slim form factor with a thickness of only 3.5mm, the 67mm X2 ND 3.0 Filter from Breakthrough Photography is a circular neutral density filter with a 1000x filter factor that darkens the entire image by 10 stops. This reduction in exposure allows you to use slower shutter speeds to express movement in your photos, and achieve wide apertures even in bright lighting situations.Made of H-K9L optical glass, the X2 ND is designed for color-neutral performance with no added tint or cast and avoids vignetting thanks to its slim profile. Two types of coating are deployed: MRC8, which helps eliminate glare and lends the glass better scratch resistance and durability, and a nano layer that repels water and small particles for easier cleaning. A knurled aluminum frame completes the filter, featuring 67mm front filter threads for stacking and weather sealing that allows for outdoor use even in harsh conditions. -
