Product description Filter out polarized light and saturate the skies and foliage in your pictures with the 82mm X4 Dark 6-Stop Titanium Circular Polarizer Filter from Breakthrough Photography. This 82mm CPL filter is specially designed to offer a notably neutral performance that avoids color cast, and achieves a level of darkening comparable to many neutral density filters with a 64x filter factor for six stops of exposure reduction. Two types of coatings are applied: a nano coating that repeals water for easier cleaning, and a multi-resistant coating to reduce reflection and increase the durability of the glass.Circular polarizers can be used to reduce reflections such as in water and glass windows and work to improve shadow detail in situations with broad dynamic ranges. The X4 CPL marries these effects with a rugged design made for the outdoors, being made of clear Schott B270 glass and a titanium frame that gives it a light yet durable build. The sides of the filter are knurled for better grip when adding or removing it from the lens, and an 82mm front thread allows for stacking filters and for the use of optional accessories. -
