Product description Harness the advantages of contrast-enhancing polarized light microscopy using Bresser's Science ADL 601 P 40-600x Trinocular Microscope. This scientific instrument features polarized illumination from both top and bottom and allows you to contrast crystalline and anisotropic structures using reflective and transmitted techniques. To achieve this, it has powerful 20W halogen lamps with polarizers as top and bottom illuminators and an analyzer incorporated into the head of the scope. For emphasizing (or de-emphasizing) certain spectrally sensitive details of your specimen, the optical tube (for the top lamp) also incorporates a field diaphragm and a wheel with frosted glass, red, blue, and green filters. The microscope's four plan achromatic objectives (5x, 10x, 40x, and 60x) deliver crisp and clear images with high edge-to-edge sharpness, and its precision mechanical stage, with two coaxial Vernier controls, enables accurate positioning of the area of interest in a horizontal plane. Other highlights of this tool are its coarse and fine focusing with 2µm minimum increments, a focus tension adjustment ring, and a Siedentopf interpupillary adjustment. For documenting your discoveries without interrupting observation, the microscope also has a third vertical photo tube for connecting a camera. - Optical Performance
