Product description Whether you're taking a scenic drive or want documentation in case of an accident, you can record what happens inside and outside your vehicle right from your dashboard with BrickHouse Security's Dual View Car Camera System. This single-unit windshield-mountable audio, video, and location-mapping vehicle system consists of a front-facing camera and a rear-facing camera, a color 2.7" display screen, a built-in DVR, an internal microphone and speaker, and built-in G-sensor. It also supports GPS tracking via an included antenna-like GPS receiver that plugs in on the side.
The Dual View is designed to capture 1.3MP images and high-quality video in either 1280 x 480 or 640 x 480 resolution at a frame rate of 30 fps. In addition to this, the Dual View has a built-in color 2.7" display screen and a microphone and speaker that allow you to instantly playback video and audio. The front-facing camera captures video in a 140° angle to give you an ultra-wide view of what is transpiring in front of your vehicle. Video from the front-facing camera will be displayed on the left side of the built-in display screen, while the rear-facing camera captures video in a 120° angle and will be displayed on the right of the screen. Video can be captured simultaneously from both cameras and recorded to a single microSD card (not included) with a capacity up to 32GB.
Beyond this, the Dual View's GPS logs a vehicle's location and travel routes. These logs can be downloaded to Google Maps and can help users save money by being mindful of mileage, record family vacations, as well as provide more detailed and geographical insights into the events leading to an accident that may help settle insurance claims and legal disputes more quickly.
In terms of powering, the Dual View has two options: it can be used as a portable, wire-free camera with 2-3 hours of internal battery life or it can be connected to your vehicle's cigarette lighter with the supplied car adapter for a source of continuous power.
