Product description The Left Field Baseplate from Bright Tangerine is comprised of an ARRI-standard dovetail with multiple 1/4"-20 accessory mounts and a baseplate core for RED DSMC2 cameras.
When secured in the baseplate core with the locking lever, the dovetail plate functions as a quick release plate and features safety screws to prevent sliding. The baseplate connects to the base of your DSMC2 camera with two 3/8"-16 screws and the dovetail plate connects to a tripod, gimbal, or shoulder rig. - Baseplate Core for RED DSMC2 Cameras Securely mount your RED DSMC2 camera onto a tripod, shoulder rig, or gimbal with this Baseplate Core from Bright Tangerine. The baseplate core is compatible with ARRI standard dovetail plates; a separately available dovetail plate locks into place with a locking lever and allows sliding for balance, which is especially important when mounted on a gimbal or shoulder rig.
The baseplate features numerous 1/4"-20 threads on the sides for mounting, and the base mounts onto your camera with two included 3/8"-16 screws. The side threads can be used to mount accessories or side plates to create a full cage. The plate has two 1/4"-20 threaded holes on the front and back to connect a separately available 15mm LWS adapter for additional stability. UPC: 755899010295 - Left Field ARRI-Style Dovetail Plate The 4" Left Field ARRI-Style Dovetail Plate from Bright Tangerine is an ARRI-standard dovetail with multiple accessory mounts. When used with a separately available Left Field 15mm LWS Baseplate, the Dovetail Plate functions as a quick release plate.This cheese plate can mount onto the top or bottom of your camera and incorporates multiple 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16, and ARRI anti-twist accessory mounts. The two removable safety screws can also be used to fix the plate onto your camera.
