Product description The Misfit Multi Rota Promo Kit 3 from Bright Tangerine combines the Misfit carbon fiber matte box core with a 143mm clamp lens attachment, top flag, two 4 x 5.65" horizontal filter trays, and the Tiffen Multi Rota Tray variable ND kit. The ND kit includes a 138mm circular polarizer and 4 x 5.65" circular polarizer and allows the use and rotation of either of these or both at the same time.
The Misfit matte box has an ultra compact and lightweight design, but still offers the field of view to cover wide lenses, such as the 14mm Cooke S4 and RED Pro Zoom at 5K. Plus it's built to last, made of a solid carbon fiber core and sophisticated hard anodized alloys and featuring a very high strength to weight ratio. The 143mm Clamp Lens Attachment is made from the same materials as the Misfit core and will outfit the Misfit with a 143mm diameter. The Clamp Lens Attachment is a clip-on type but the Misfit also supports optional swing-away and standard rod brackets from Bright Tangerine.
One of the distinguishing features of the Misfit is its integrated 2-stage to 3-stage adjustability, based on Bright Tangerine's patented Reveal technology. Built into the 2-stage assembly is a third stage that pulls out when you remove the thumbscrews from the assembly. Then you can simply drop a filter tray into the third stage. The entire process takes just a few seconds. The two included filter trays hold 4 x 5.65" horizontal filters and can be used in any of the three Misfit stages. For a more complete workflow, the Misfit additionally supports an optional glide rail, which allows you to mount accessories on top and slide them sideways.
The included top flag is also made from carbon fiber and built durable and rigid. It offers side wings that expand out from the sides, and which can be set individually to the position of choice using knurled knobs. This flag can also be used as a bottom flag for controlling glare from below your camera. The flag has a matte black finish on the lens side to minimize reflections.
