  Bridging the gap between compact clip-on sunshades and multi-staged matte boxes, Bright Tangerine's Misfit Matte Box Kit is versatile while remaining lightweight. This kit is based on the carbon fiber Misfit core, which can hold two 4x5.65" filters and, with the twist of a knob, can be expanded to hold three filters. For holding filters, three trays are included, and they mount in the Misfit's fixed stages. Also included is a carbon fiber top flag for blocking any reflections. Once you're ready to mount the matte box to your lens, use the 114mm clamp to secure it to the front and you're ready to shoot. The ring features a split design allowing for gentle compression that holds your matte box securely on your lens. This allows you to mount your matte box on your lens without needing to use support rods.
  • The ring features Z-cuts, which allow it to compress and grip the lens securely, so your matte box does not fall off. The Z-cuts also prevent light from behind the lens from reflecting of any filter and degrading your image.
