Product description The Titan Quick Release Kit 5 from Bright Tangerine includes three quick release brackets for use with the Titan Arm. Up to all three can be used at the same time, as will be explained below. Also included are two 15mm rod brackets, which provide the base for the quick release brackets. The rod brackets secure to the Titan Arm by replacing whatever's already on each end of the arm, and the quick release brackets attach on top. The quick release brackets come off via a secure 2-stage release system consisting of both a spring-loaded lever and safety eject lever.
The three quick release brackets consist of a 3/8"-16 quick release bracket, 1/4"-20 quick-release bracket, and a 3/8" to dual 1/4" anti-twist adapter. The first two are for the two ends of the Titan Arm, and they allow you to mount 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessories, respectively, by quick release functionality. The anti-twist adapter, however, is designed to attach to the 3/8"-16 bracket and provide two 1/4"-20 screws in its place for attaching to cages and cheese plates with the assurance that it won't twist out by accident.
The 3/8"-16 quick release bracket actually also has an anti-twist feature. In addition to the 3/8"-16 screw, it has two safety pins for use with an ARRI accessory mount. The safety pins are removable to allow for use with standard 3/8"-16 threaded holes.
An optional 4mm Allen key is required for securing the quick release brackets to your accessories. The Allen key goes in from the bottom of the quick release.
