Product description Bright Tangerine's Viv Kit 2 is a three-stage 150mm clamp-on matte box solution. Constructed around the Viv core, this kit includes a carbon fiber top flag for controlling lens flare and three 4x5.65" filter trays, two of which sit in rotatable stages. Carbon fiber construction in the shade and top flag ensures a light weight and durable build that will last through heavy use on set. This is the core foundation of the Bright Tangerine Viv Matte Box in a 3-stage setup. It features the core frame and carbon fiber shade, and three filter stages: one fixed, two rotating.
Viv is a compact 4 x 5.65" matte box featuring an expandable design that allows attaching additional filter stages. It's also a hybrid matte box, supporting clamp-on, rod-mount, and swing-away attachment, providing the flexibility to switch between studio and handheld modes. Viv features a 150mm clamp-on rear attachment that you can downsize with numerous Bright Tangerine reduction rings. It will cover lenses as wide as a 14mm Cooke S4 and still use 3 filter stages, as well as a RED Pro Zoom at 5K.
Whereas traditionally filter stages are fixed within the matte box, Viv is designed with one fixed stage onto which you can attach and stack up two additional ones, and the additional ones can be rotated 360°. At the click of a button, the individual stages are easily separated. One of the benefits of this is that the stages become very easy to clean since each one can be handled separately. - 4x5.65" Horizontal Filter Tray for Viv This is a 4x5.65" horizontal Bright Tangerine Filter Tray for the Bright Tangerine Viv matte box. The Viv matte box, not included, can accept 4x5.65" filter trays. This filter tray allows you to use a 4x5.65" filter. UPC: 755899001521
- Top Flag for Viv, Viv 5", or Misfit Matte Boxes Add extra flare control to your matte box with this Bright Tangerine Top Flag. The carbon fiber design is lightweight and matches the aesthetic of Bright Tangerine matte boxes. Use the integrated quick release attachment system for mounting on your Viv, Viv 5", or Misfit matte box. Integrated variable side wings expand from the sides of the top flag for additional light blocking. Knurled knobs allow you to set the exact position of the side wing and lock it in place.
