Product description With a small footprint and fast scan speeds, the compact ADS-2700W High-Speed Document Scanner from Brother will make a great addition to a home office or desk with its ability to quickly digitize your files and photos at up to 35 ppm. This model offers both wired USB 2.0 and Ethernet connectivity as well as built-in Wi-Fi for setting up exactly how you want and need. It can also create detailed images with an optical resolution of 600 dpi, which can be interpolated to 1200 x 1200 dpi, and 48-bit internal processing. Along with this, automatic image optimization and included software will provide you with easy-to-read and organized documents, especially when using OCR technology.
Many document types can be handled with the 50-sheet ADF with compatible sizes ranging from 2 x 2" up to 8.5 x 14". A long document scanning mode is available for working with banners up to 196" in length. Also, the ADF has single-pass duplexing capabilities with an impressive speed of 70 ipm. For ease of use, the ADS-2700W is equipped with a 2.8" touchscreen LCD, as well as a walk-up USB port for scanning directly to a portable storage device. - Using Dual CIS image sensors with an optical resolution of 600 x 600 dpi and a max interpolated resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi, users will enjoy sharp, detailed scans.
- With an internal color depth of 48-bit and output of 24-bit, final scans produced by the ADS-2700W will be vivid and accurate.
- Scan at speeds up to 35 ppm or up to 70 ipm when set to duplexing.
- The 50-sheet ADF can work with various document types, including paper, receipts, photos, business cards, and plastic/embossed cards. This includes sizes ranging from 2 x 2" up to 8.5 x 14", as well as long documents up to 196" in length. Also, plastic cards up to 55 mil thick can be scanned.
- This unit can handle high volumes with a rated daily duty cycle of 3000 scans.
- TWAIN, WIA, ICA, and SANE scan drivers are included.
- Standard USB 2.0 and Ethernet connections are available for wired configurations and networking.
- Built-in Wi-Fi connectivity is available for completely wireless setup in your office. It also features secure access with Settings Lock, individual access settings, and secure protocols such as SSL, TLS, and SFTP.
- Scan to multiple locations, including file, image, OCR, email, network, FTP, mobile devices, and USB flash memory drive. This also includes Google Drive, Evernote, Evernote for Business, Dropbox, Box, Box for Business, Microsoft OneNote, OneDrive, OneDrive for Business, and SharePoint.
- Advanced features include programmable shortcut buttons (48 options), mobile device support via Brother iPrint&Scan, background removal, blank page removal, deskew support, continuous scanning mode, plastic card scanning, hole punch removal/edge fill, preview mode, and the ability to create searchable PDFs.
- Users can access a 2.8" touchscreen LCD to access and change settings while an easy-access USB port is available for direct scanning.
