Product description Featuring laminating thermal transfer technology, the PT-E500 Industrial Handheld Labeling Tool from Brother will help you fill numerous labeling needs. It works with tape sizes from 3.5 to 24mm and it has a print resolution of 180 dpi for sharp text. Produce labels quickly while on-site thanks to the included rechargeable Li-ion battery and a speed of 0.8" per second or 1.2" per second when plugging into AC power. Further improving usage is the inclusion of a built-in automatic cutter, a QWERTY keyboard, and a large 15-character, 2-line backlit LCD.
A USB port is available for computer connectivity which works with the included design software to print from databases and make custom labels. Smart labeling application keys enable quick printing for specific applications, such as cabling, faceplates, patch panels, and more, and it has advanced serialized options. Additionally, it is compatible with a variety of HGe and TZE tapes along with the HSe heat shrink tubing that is smear resistant.
