Product description The Buffalo 4TB (2 x 2TB) TeraStation 1200 NAS Server is a two-bay storage solution that comes with two 2TB hard drives that are configured for RAID 1. This configuration provides redundancy as it saves an exact copy of data on both drives, which makes it suitable for use in small business and home offices. The NAS also supports JBOD and RAID 0, which provides faster access to your data. For convenience, each drive bay supports hot swapping and hot spare. You can connect the TeraStation 1200 to your network via a Gigabit Ethernet port and additional external storage drives using the USB 2.0 port.
The TeraStation 1200 is equipped with a 1.2 GHz dual-issue ARM processor and 512MB of DDR3 RAM to manage the stored data and to run the pre-installed TeraStation NAS operating system. This OS provides network file sharing, security, RAID management, remote access, and more. In addition, you can perform scheduled or real-time replication that transfers your data stored on the drives to another TeraStation device. Moreover, this NAS supports Time Machine backups, and 10 licenses of NovaBACKUP for PCs are included to protect your data. - Shared Central Storage
