Product description - Business Class Value Storage Solution - Terastation TS3410DN
The Buffalo TeraStation 3410DN Desktop NAS Server comes with four 1TB enterprise-class hard drives in its four bays to provide your network with a total storage pool of 4TB. The TeraStation 3410DN supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, and JBOD modes, so you can configure this storage pool to suit your needs. For management performance, the TS3410DN is outfitted with a 1.4 GHz Alpine AL212 dual-core processor along with 1GB of DDR3 memory. Additionally, it has two Gigabit Ethernet ports and two USB 3.0 ports to access networks and external devices. - Protection

- Buffalo's Boot Authentication feature ensures that the TS3410DN is only accessible on authorized networks

- AES 256-bit drive encryption and drive recognition technology ensure drives cannot be accessed from any system other than your TeraStation
- Data replication allows for easy back up to other on-site or remote devices

- Duplex Firmware
- Quickly restore the OS with the assistance of the Duplex Firmware feature without compromising data. With Duplex Firmware, if you experience minor OS system issues, the TeraStation will then either begin the recovery process itself or allow for a recovery without affecting user data.

- File permissions can now be controlled at the subfolder file level from Windows Explorer, making it possible to create new shares with unique permissions on demand from active directory.

If an infected file is detected, it will be automatically quarantined in a dedicated folder to prevent virus infection and allow you to share documents with confidence.
