Product description Fill larger venues with all-tube tone from the Bugera T50 INFINIUM Amplifier Head. Packing 50 watts of power coming from dual EL84 power tubes, the T50 offers up tones ranging from vintage clean to modern high-gain over two discrete channels. The amp's power section can operate in either class-A or class-AB; the former offering a response associated with vintage amps, and the latter eliciting a tighter and more immediate modern response. Each of the two channels has its own EQ and can be switched on the fly with the included footswitch. The PHAT button adds a gain boost to both channels.Aesthetically, the T50 features a reflective vented cage-style metal top that shows off the 12AX7 preamp and EL34 power amp tubes' glow along with the other amp components like the large transformers. An orange classic jewel status light shines when the power is on. The amp's output impedance is switchable, allowing the T50 to rock with most conventional guitar cabs. - Classic All-Tube Design
- The T50's preamp contains four 12AX7 tubes that, when manipulated by the gain control, can elicit tones ranging from sparkling clean to heavy crunch. The power section comprises two EL34 tubes, famous for their use in British high-gain amplifiers and their ability to provide low-end punch and desirable distortion characteristics, even at lower power levels. This characteristic gives the T50 the ability to sound great at lower volume levels.
- INFINIUM Technology
- By continuously monitoring the tube circuitry, INFINIUM lengthens tube life and keeps your tone consistent throughout the life of your tubes. When INFINIUM detects a change in tube operation due to aging or otherwise, it dynamically adjusts the circuitry so the tubes operate at their optimal load.INFINIUM also knows when a tube needs to be replaced and will illuminate an LED by the offending tube to notify you. Auto-Bias circuitry allows you to replace the tube without any esoteric or potentially dangerous adjustments that would require a trip to an amp tech.
- Effects Loop
- Insert effects into your signal chain after the preamp but before the power amp. Some effects (usually delays and other ambient effects) work best after the amplifiers pre-amp, keeping your overdriven sound from getting muddy. A level switch ensures that your signal will stay at unity gain after going through several stompboxes.
- Speaker-Emulated Line Out
- Go direct out of the T50 to a mixing desk or computer interface with the speaker-emulated TS line out. The signal is tapped before the master volume and Tone Cut circuit so your tone arrives at its destination unchanged based on adjustments for output on stage. With the built-in switch you can select from two cabinet emulations, 1x12 and 4x12 depending on the sound you are trying to achieve.
- Built-In Reverb
- The T50's Reverb puts the finishing touch to your sound. Adjustable via the dedicated control on the front panel, you can dial in the level you desire—from a subtle touch to the cavernous, natural-sounding reverberation of a large arena.
- 2-Button Footswitch
- With the included footswitch, you can quickly change channels or engage/disengage the built-in reverb effect. The unit itself features a heavy-duty metal casing and an integrated 15' cable. Status LEDs indicate which channel is active and whether reverb is on or off.
