Product description Burris Optics combined state-of-the-art engineering with refinements for accuracy in the 1-5x24 XTR II Riflescope. The optical system offers bright and clear images, with high contrast and true colors, thanks to the indexed-matched multi-coated optics. To compensate for wind and ballistics you have adjustable windage and elevation, and a 1/10 mil impact point correction. One of central features of the scope is the Ballistic 5.56 Gen 3 Reticle. It is a dual focal plane reticle that has a scaling of crosshair for ranging accuracy, a constant-size broken circle for easy short-to-long range transition, and trajectory compensation out to 1,000 yards.
Another definite highlight of this optic is the Modular Adjustment Dial (M.A.D.) System that allows you to choose from competition-style exposed knobs, capped knobs, or custom knobs on both windage and elevation adjustments in order to match precisely the trajectory of your ammunition.
Complementing the medium range capabilities of the XTR II, is the FastFire III reflex sight. It features an 3 MOA red aiming dot which is big enough to see in the daylight, but won't obstruct small varmints. Three brightness levels lets you set it to your preference, or switch it to auto and the light sensor will detect the amount of available light and adjust the brightness itself. The FastFire III is made of aluminum with a matte-black anodized finish, and is waterproof and submersible.
An AR-P.E.P.R. (Proper Eye Position Ready) mount is included for the scope. This cantilever mount is specifically designed for the AR platform and provides two inches of forward scope position to give you the proper eye relief. As with the scope and reflex sight, the P.E.P.R. mount is also made of aluminum with a matte-black anodized finish to tie all of the optics together. A Picatinny mount is also included to attach the FastFire to the top of one of P.E.P.R.'s scope rings.
The housing is made of lightweight and durable aluminum with corrosion-resistant anodized finish. It features a 30mm single-piece maintube for resistance to shock and recoil, nitrogen filling for fog proofing, and O-rings for waterproof performance. The fast focus eyepiece's zoom ring and adjustment turrets and rings feature heavy knurling for improved tactile traction and non-slip operation in all weather conditions. - Ballistic 5.56 Gen 3 Reticle
