Product description The Burst Electronics VS4x1 4-input Active Switcher is a vertical interval video switcher with 4 inputs and 1 output and features digital logic to restrain selection of an idle input (no video). Jump-free switching between genlocked sources is achieved by DC-clamped inputs (back porch) and DC-clamped output. Besides allowing selection of only active (input video present) input channels, the 4-input Active Switcher can also be used when both audio and video are to be switched by using it as a slave with the AS4x1 audio switcher. In addition to offering audio follow video and breakaway switching, the switcher can also eliminate level shifts on the incoming video and ground reference the outgoing video. Featuring the BNC video connector, the VS4x1 4-input Active Switcher also has a 4-pin Mini DIN for Y/C option. The switcher also has an input for RS-232 remote control (2400 bps, 8N1), and an LED that shows the selected active channel. It uses an external 12VDC source and comes with a wall module power supply. - Vertical interval video switcher with 4 inputs and 1 output
