Every Bushnell riflescope is the direct result of extensive research and design input from real hunters in real hunting environments. Bushnell's Elite 6500 4.5-30x50 riflescope combines high-powered magnification with a prominent 50mm objective. This fine sighting solution is an excellent choice for long-range shooting - Mr. Gopher is definitely not going to be happy about this! The Elite 6500 shines when the weather is less than favorable; it's totally water and fogproof, and the mutli-coated optics feature Bushnell's proprietary Rainguard coatings - this scientific breakthrough enhances the sight picture by breaking up water droplets on the lens' surface to minimize flare, glare, and distortions. This Elite 6500 scope is configured with a 30mm maintube, side-focus parallax correction, low hunting turrets, and a DOA 600 reticle. A mounting base and rings are used to attach a riflescope to a firearm. A comfortable sight picture is contingent upon the height of the rings. A comfortable cheek-weld is the result of properly positioning the scope over the receiver. Mounting the scope close to the receiver is preferable, yet scopes with larger objectives need higher rings so the front bell can clear the barrel. It should be noted that in many mounting applications, a professional gunsmith's skills will be needed for proper installation. - 1/4 MOA click W&E adjustments
