Product description The Byte Brothers POE1000ILT Tone Star Power Panel CAT5/6 DVM & Network/PoE Tester is packed with features for sensing what is on a CAT5/6 cable (switches, phones, PoE power) plus interacts with these devices.
This unit can also sense DSL tones. The incorporated filtered probe can be used as a wire locator to audibly trace teh tone placed on the wires by the Power Panel main unit. it features a tone button, volume control, ultrabright LED lighted tip, and 2 status LEDs. One to visually identify the tone and the other to warn you that there is a 60 Hz present in the area. The probe is filtered to minize fluorescent hum. - Detects Network Devices, Phones, and Power (PoE)
- Network devices: Indicates advertised speed, duplex, and pairs
Power (PoE): Indicates voltage amplitude (discovery and full), pairs used (end or mid span), and watts (when connected in-line) - Interacts with Switches & PoE Power Systems
- Force link button: Sends link pulses to prompt communication from network devices
Test PoE Button: Simulates VoIP phones or camera and prompts PoE power - Locates wire using tone
- Detects tone placed on the wires by the Power Panel main unit
